Great lunch stop! Country diner meals, good portions and a dessert; not a little tiny cup of dessert, but a regular bowl full....peach cobbler, blackberry cobbler or banana pudding....ALL HOMEMADE! I jad the chicken fried steak....real steak meat, not a processed patty, purple hull peas & collard greens...all prepared like your grandmothers cooking! Healthy & full of flavor! On the corner of US 90 Business/Beaumont Hwy(N. McCarty Rd.) & Oates Rd........if you miss it......turn around! You won't want to miss this great place for a healthy & filling lunch( or Breakfast!)!!!

First time ever.... no beer here but nice place!

Don't let the outside fool you this place is by far the best food I've had since I was a child! Try it once and you will return. Great down to earth trustworthy folks. You can't get that at most high end expensive joints. This place ROCK'S!
